Strategia Introduces New e-Commerce Functionality for Selling Training Online
LONGUEUIL, Quebec – February 12, 2008. Strategia announced today that it has released
its newest version of the ed Training, Compliance and Skills Management Software.
ed version 5.5 will provide complete e-Commerce functionality to support B2B and B2C training initiatives.
The ed e-Commerce module is fully integrated with the rest of Strategia’s software and enables companies
to resell all types of courseware and training services that they have developed or purchased from other
content providers. This new module maintains both an internal and external course catalog, offers blended
learning with extensive tracking possibilities, defines catalog access control and supports catalog searches,
credit card processing and billing by corporate account. It also provides functionality for creating discounts
for specific groups of users, supports billing via purchase order, money order and checks and supports
customized transaction reports in several formats. The ed e-Commerce module can be integrated with over
100 different payment providers. As with previous versions, this release is available as a licensed
application or as a hosted service.
